Katharina Vintage started in the last days of 2019—born out of a craving for freedom, creativity, and as a movement against fast fashion. Back then, I was still juggling a corporate job in fashion PR and holding a degree in textile engineering. But after years in the industry, I knew one thing for sure: I didn’t want to build just another brand. Instead of adding to the endless noise, I chose to celebrate what already exists. Katharina Vintage is my love letter to the past—curated vintage treasures that bring soul, story, and style into the now. I’ve been thrifting, swapping, and upcycling since I was 16. What started as a teenage obsession turned into a full-blown mission: to make vintage feel fun, feminine, and totally wearable again. The studio is based near Lake Constance, in the dreamy Alpine corner of Austria. Many of the pieces I find are made locally—Austrian cotton blouses, crisp wool skirts, and beautifully crafted gems that deserve a second (or third) life. I also scout vintage hotspots like Germany, France, Italy, and the UK. Every piece is handpicked, lovingly cleaned, restored if needed, sometimes reimagined—and always styled with heart. Katharina Vintage is more than a shop. It’s a playful, girly escape from the everyday. A space for slow fashion, sparkly moments, and stories stitched into fabric.
